Meet Sensei Vicki

Sensei Vicki began her martial arts journey in 1997 under Sensei Ian, earning her black belt in December 2001.

She deeply values Kyokushin’s emphasis on discipline and self-improvement, which encourages students to reach their full potential through dedication, hard work and resilience.

In 2005, she was awarded her Nidan (2nd Dan) by Branch Chief Shihan Nikola Cujic.

Sensei Vicki became the Instructor in 2014 as a Nidan and taught there until relocating to Penshurst in 2017.

In 2016, she was awarded her Sandan (3rd Dan) in Sydney by Shihan Cujic.

Sensei Vicki currently teaches both children (ages 5 to 12) and adults (ages 13 and over ). Her classes focus on instilling discipline, respect, hard work and resilience.

She enjoys all aspects of Kyokushin, from sparring and kata to rigorous stamina training. She believes that cultivating discipline is about more than mastering techniques; it is about developing character and respect—virtues that enhance all areas of life.

As a firm believer in perseverance, she believes that a black belt is simply a white belt who never gave up.
